SRI Funds data feed

SRI stands for Socially Responsible Investing. It is used to refer to sustainable investing, socially-conscious or ethical investing, and describes an investment strategy that seeks to maximise both financial return and social good.

We’re always trying to find new ways to help customers find the investments they want. One of the tools on our website is called Investment Finder, which helps investors find funds among the 3,000+ that we offer. This tool allows investors to apply a number of filters such as fund provider and asset class. We became aware of an issue with the way that our trusted third-party data supplier has applied the SRI filter. We take the accuracy of our platform data extremely seriously and have removed that filter while we work with our supplier to review the methodology.

We have acted quickly. As soon as we became aware that there may be a potential issue with how our third-party data supplier categorises SRI funds on the platform, we removed that particular filter pending further review. Fidelity does not categorise these funds as SRI ourselves; the categorisation has been provided by the third-party provider. Once we have completed the review, we will take the necessary steps to ensure we're helping our customers find SRI investments.
