The fund invests in equities, both in the UK and overseas markets. The underlying fund has approximately 10% invested in the shares of UK companies, 10% in the shares of companies in the Emerging Markets. The remaining 80% is invested in overseas companies split in equal weights between the following three regions: US, Europe ex-UK, and Japan & Pacific Rim. To reduce the impact of currency movements on the returns generated by the fund’s holdings, 95% of its currency exposure is hedged. The fund aims to provide returns consistent with the markets in which it invests and can provide broad exposure to countries identified in the objective.
