To achieve capital growth in excess of the MSCI World SMID Cap Index (Total Return) over any five year period, after all costs and charges have been taken. To invest at least 60% of its assets in the shares of small and medium sized companies, including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), that: i) are incorporated or domiciled in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom and United States; and ii) are listed or traded on an exchange in the countries stated above; and iii) have a market capitalisation below that of the largest constituent of the MSCI World SMID Cap Index.
