Our view

Profile
Alice Logue
Research Analyst

The Fidelity Special Situations Fund is managed by Alexander Wright and aims to provide long-term capital growth.

The Fidelity Special Situations Fund has employed a contrarian stock picking strategy since its launch in 1979, investing primarily in the shares of UK companies blending investments in larger, medium-sized and smaller companies.

Wright joined Fidelity as an analyst in 2001, and took the helm of this Specials Situations fund in 2014. He focuses on finding unloved companies entering a period of positive change.
