Our view

Profile
Alice Logue
Research Analyst

The Liontrust UK Growth Fund investment objectives are to provide long-term capital growth through a portfolio of mainly UK equities, but with the option of investing part of the portfolio overseas. The fund is managed by Julian Fosh and Anthony Cross.

Fosh and Cross look for companies with ‘pricing power’ - the freedom to charge a little bit more, which in turn brings about, and sustains, high profits. They argue that their focus on companies which can sustain profits over the long-term insulates their portfolio from economic uncertainty.

Fosh and Cross's proprietary investment process is not used by any competing funds in the UK-All Companies sector.
