Investment objective

The investment objective of the Trust is to achieve long term capital growth. The Trust will seek to achieve its investment objective mainly through investment in a broad portfolio of international real estate investment trusts (REITs), other closed-ended property related funds and equity securities of companies whose activities are concentrated mainly in the real estate sector.

Raymond has over 18 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2018, he worked in London for Thames River Capital LLP and Portland Capital LLP. Raymond has also worked in Switzerland and the Netherlands. Member of the CFA® Institute

Ben is Head of Multi Asset Research and portfolio manager for the Global Real Estate funds and mandates. Ben joined Sarasin & Partners in 2017. Ben started his career at Friends Provident as graduate trainee and after nearly 4 years moved to Henderson Global Investors where he was for over 14 years managing European (including UK) equities funds, rising to Director and Head of the Mainstream European team. Prior to joining Sarasin, Ben spent 9 years at GIC Private Ltd in a similar capacity. Ben became Deputy Portfolio Manager from 01.12.2019 - 31.05.2021 and Portfolio Manager from 01.06.2021 – present. Qualifications: ASIP (Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals). Member of the CFA® Institute.
