Investment objective
The investment objective of the fund is to achieve capital growth and generate an income through diversified investment in equities of Asia-Pacific Companies (excluding the equities of Japanese Companies). Investments may be made in ordinary shares (including ADRs, EDRs and GDRs), preferred shares and up to 25 per cent. of the total assets of the fund may be invested in Convertible Debt Securities. The Fund’s investment strategy shall not be specific to any particular industry sector or country. The fund may utilise any of the financial derivative instruments described in the section entitled “Investment Techniques and Instruments” for efficient portfolio management purposes.

Fund manager biography
Benjamin has been at Redwheel since 2019, he is Portfolio Manager in Redwheel’s Global Horizon Equity Team. He brings 11 years of experience in equity analysis and portfolio management. Prior to Redwheel, Ben was Portfolio Manager on the Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund at Mondrian Investment Partners, where he performed fundamental bottom-up research on companies across sectors and markets including India, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. Since joining Redwheel, Ben has expanded his knowledge to global markets using the capital cycle approach to investing.Benjamin joined Waverton in February 2024 as Lead Manager of the Waverton Asia Pacific Equity Fund. He began his career in 2010 at Mondrian Investment Partners, where he was a Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Markets Small Cap strategy. In 2019, Benjamin moved to Redwheel, where he was Portfolio Manager for the Global Horizon Equity strategy. Benjamin graduated from Cardiff University with a first-class degree in Economics and is a CFA Charterholder.
