Investment objective

The objective of the Fund is to achieve positive annual returns with lower volatility than the Deutsche Numis All Share Index. The Fund will seek to achieve returns that are in excess of one month SONIA (SONIA1M IR), after fees, over a three year rolling period though there is no guarantee that it will do so. The portfolio will consist principally (at least 80%) of exposure to listed UK equity securities (defined as those issued by companies domiciled, incorporated or which have a significant proportion of their business in the UK). These companies will have market capitalisation of over £500m at the time of investment.

John Warren joined Premier Miton in June 2024. With Paul Marriage, John founded Tellworth Investments in October 2017. He joined Cazenove Capital in 2010, moving to Schroders in 2013 after the acquisition of Cazenove. Prior to this, John worked at UBS, Investec Bank and HSBC in UK equities and before this PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Johnnie Smith joined Premier Miton in June 2024 from Tellworth Investments which he joined in June 2020 as a Fund Manager. Previously he was an analyst at CZ Capital researching UK mid and large cap equities across multiple sectors before becoming a portfolio manager at the firm, managing long/short mandates. Prior to that he worked at JP Morgan in Equity Sales as a UK Specialist.
