Investment objective
The Fund aims to increase the value of investor's investment over a period of 5 years or more through a portfolio providing global exposure to both lower and higher risk assets. The Fund will invest at least 70% into funds that use an ‘index tracking’ (also known as 'passive') investment management approach (these may include Funds managed by Fidelity), with the aim of pursuing a lower cost investment approach. The Fund can also invest directly into transferable securities, other collective investment schemes, money market instruments, cash and deposits, and is also able to use derivatives for efficient portfolio management and investment purposes.

Chris Forgan is a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Solutions & Multi Asset. Chris has 27 years of investment experience and joined Fidelity in 2017. Prior to joining Fidelity, Chris was a Portfolio Manager at Henderson Global Investors, in their Multi Asset team focusing on their income fund range. Previously Chris worked as an analyst at Henderson Global Investors, a senior performance analyst at First State Investments and began his career on the trading floor at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. Chris has an BA (Hons) Marketing Administration from the University of Northumbria.

Caroline has extensive investment experience, joining Fidelity in 2021 as a Portfolio Manager in the Solutions & Multi Asset team. She joined the team with significant experience in asset allocation and team-based decision-making processes, having delivered strong investment outcomes over her career so far. Her combination of skillsets and experience provides a strong contribution to Fidelity Solutions & Multi Asset, working closely with existing members of the team across investment strategies and disciplines. Prior to this, Caroline was Head of Fund and Asset Management at Courtiers Investment Services Ltd, where she led a team of multi asset investors across a range of strategies. Caroline received a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and is a CFA Charterholder. She has also completed the CFA Society’s Certificates in ESG Investing and Climate & Investing.
