Investment objective
To provide capital growth over the long-term (5-10 years) by investing at least 80% of the Fund's assets in emerging market companies with positive ESG characteristics or companies that demonstrate improving ESG characteristics. Companies with positive ESG characteristics are those that the Investment Manager believes to have effective governance and superior management of environmental and/or social issues. At least 80% of assets invested in equities of companies with positive ESG characteristics or companies that demonstrate improving ESG characteristics and that are domiciled, or carrying out the main part of their economic activity, in an emerging market country.

Mehta joined PAM in this position in June 2007 and focuses on the financial sector. Before joining PAM, he worked at Insight Investment Management as a Global Banks Analyst (2005-2007) and for Morgan Stanley on the sell side as a European Banks Analyst (1998-2005). Mehta is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).

John Citron, executive director, is a portfolio manager within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team based in London. An employee since 2009, he previously worked as an industrials analyst within the EMAP Equities team, and before that as a research analyst within the European Equities Research team. John obtained a B.A. (Honours) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.
