Investment objective
The investment objective of the Fund is to generate income (money paid out by an investment) and preserve capital with potential for capital growth (the increase in value of an investment) over an investment term of 5 years. The Fund will invest a minimum of 70% in GBP denominated, London Stock Exchange listed: • closed-ended investment trusts (a type of public listed company which invests in the shares of companies), • real estate investment trusts (a type of company that owns, operates or finances income generating real estate) and • exchange traded funds (a type of fund traded on a stock exchange) which, in each case, are invested in UK companies and assets domiciled, incorporated or which have a significant proportion of their business in the UK.

Lead fund manager biography
Nick Scullion is the Head of Foresight Capital Management and is responsible for investment decisions, fund management and the growth of Foresight’s open-ended fund business. Nick joined Foresight in 2017 and has 9 years' experience in fund management, capital markets and corporate finance. Nick spent almost two years in Foresight's New Product Development team where he was responsible for the development of new business undertakings, from concept to execution, across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, private equity, project finance and venture capital. Prior to joining Foresight, Nick worked at EY as a Transaction Advisor where he focused on M&A and corporate strategy. He has also worked as a Management Consultant at Accenture focusing on corporate banking.

Mayank joined Liontrust in October 2020. He most recently spent 3 years as a Senior Investment Manager at Architas responsible for the Diversified Real Asset Fund and the Blended Range with research coverage for Macro, Fixed Income and Alternatives. Prior to this he spent 10 years at Russell Investments in both London and Sydney, responsible for the Russell Real Assets Fund, Deputy on the flagship Russell Multi- Asset Growth Fund and had research coverage for global equities. He also has experience in LDI portfolio management for Russell’s Fiduciary clients. Mayank has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Finance and Actuarial Studies from the UNSW Business School, Sydney. He is a CFA charterholder.
