Investment objective
The objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve capital growth over at least 5 years. The Sub-Fund will invest at least 70% in equity and equity-related securities (namely, common and preferred stock, convertible securities, warrants and rights) of European smaller companies, being generally companies within the market capitalisation range of the MSCI Europe Small Cap Index.

Fund manager biography
Patricia Biggers is a Portfolio Manager/Analyst on the European, International, and Global Small Cap Equity teams. She began working in the investment field in 1992. Prior to joining Lazard in 2004, Patricia was with the Ford Foundation in New York City, Zurich Scudder Investments, and Deutsche Asset Management. She has an MBA from New York University and a BA (summa cum laude) from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently on the board of trustees of the donor-advised fund of the Global Impact Funding Trust of Morgan Stanley and the London Community Foundation.

Edward Rosenfeld is a Portfolio Manager/Analyst on the European, International and Global Small Cap Equity teams. He began working in the investment industry in 1996. Prior to joining Lazard in 2001, Edward was an analyst with J.P. Morgan. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from Columbia College.
