Investment objective
The Fund aims to grow the value of investors investment and outperform the S&P 500 Index after charges over the medium to long term (3 to 5 years). The Fund invests at least 80% in US equities. The Fund may also invest in other equities, bonds, warrants, money market instruments, deposits, currencies, cash and near cash and other funds. The Fund may use derivatives to invest in these assets including forward and future contracts, swaps, options and repurchase agreements for efficient portfolio management only.

Lead fund manager biography
Steve Magill is Co-Head of the Global Equity team. In his role, Steve has oversight over all Global, Europe and US Equity strategies managed by the team. He also serves as Lead PM for a range of flagship strategies across our ESG Integrated and Sustainable product shelf. Steve initially joined UBS Asset Management in 1986, before taking a career break to study. He re-joined as a UK Equity Portfolio Manager after gaining a First-Class degree in Accounting. Having successfully built a track record as a PM, Steve became a senior European Healthcare analyst, progressing rapidly to take on the role of Deputy Head of Pan-European Research in 2007 and lead the Global Healthcare team. Steve re-joined the UK Equity Value team in 2009 as part of a managed succession plan, becoming Head of the team in 2015. In 2017, his responsibilities were extended to managing the European Equity Value strategies. The team expanded its scope to Global equities in 2022 with the launch of the Global Equity Value strategy and began managing sustainable strategies in 2024. In 2025, when the Global Equity and Value teams were merged, Steve was promoted to Co-Head of the team, being responsible for all aspects of portfolio management. Steve is a Regular Member of the CFA Society of the UK and the CFA Institute.

Adam Jokich is a senior portfolio manager (PM) within the Global Equity team. Adam is the lead PM on select sustainability-focused equity strategies including Active Climate Aware, US Sustainable, Engage for Impact Equity, and International Sustainable Equity; he is also the co-PM on Long Term Themes. Additionally, Adam remains deputy PM on several other strategies managed by the Global Equity Team. Prior to his role as a senior portfolio manager on the team, Adam held the role as deputy portfolio manager on our SI-focused portfolios, including Global Sustainable Equity, International Sustainable Equity, US Sustainable Equity, and Long Term Themes Equity, among other portfolios run by the Global Equity team. Adam started his career as a quantitative analyst in Chicago, where he was responsible for providing quantitative research and analysis used in the investment decision making process within the US Intrinsic Value team, and worked extensively on the Global Equity Valuation System. Adam also spearheaded the development of the proprietary UBS ESG model. He has fulfilled several portfolio manager roles, where he has leveraged his quantitative skillset to provide value add in the portfolio construction and risk management process. He was the deputy portfolio manager on the US and Global Multi-Strategy portfolios and was responsible for the research and development initiatives of various risk premia capabilities for the Systematic Investing team. Adam is a CFA Charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute
