Our view
The Jupiter European Special Situation Fund's investment policy is to reach its objective by investing principally in quality European companies with sustainable growth, trading at reasonable prices. The fund is managed by Cédric de Fonclare.
There are three key pillars to Cédric de Fonclare's investment process: 'remaining disciplined, always retaining an element of quality in the portfolio, and looking for companies with excess capacity'.
Fonclare finds companies that the market has mispriced and which can, in his opinion, outgrow the wider economy. He runs a relatively concentrated portfolio of 40-60 stocks.
