Investment objective
The Fund aims to provide capital growth in excess of the FTSE All Share (Gross Total Return) Index (after fees have been deducted) over a three to five year period by investing in equity and equity related securities of UK companies that have suffered a severe setback in either share price or profitability. The Fund is actively managed and invests at least 80% of its assets in equity and equity related securities of UK companies. These are companies that are incorporated, headquartered or have their principal business activities in the UK.

Andrew Lyddon is a fund manager in Schroders Global Value team, the team manage income, recovery and sustainable strategies across four geographies: UK, European, Global and Emerging Markets. Andrew co-manages UK Recovery and UK Income strategies and manager of European Income and European Recovery portfolios. He has managed value portfolios since 2010 and was a founding member of the Global Value team in 2013. He joined Schroders in October 2005 as an Equity Analyst within the Pan-European research team Qualifications: CFA Charterhholder; MSc in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary College and a Degree in Chemistry from Bath University.

Tom Grady is a fund manager in Schroders Global Value team, the team manage income, recovery and sustainable strategies across four geographies: UK, European, Global and Emerging Markets. Tom co-manages UK Income and UK Recovery strategies. Tom joined the Value Team in January 2025 as an analyst focused on UK equities. Tom was previously an analyst / fund manager in the Prime UK Equity team from 2021. He joined the UK Equity team in 2015 as a generalist research analyst. His finance career started in forensic accountancy for a leading accountancy firm. His investment career commenced in 2012 as sell-side, small-cap, global technology analyst. Qualifications: Chartered accountant and CFA Charterholder. Degree in Engineering, University of Southampton.
