Investment objective
The Sub-fund aims to outperform (after deduction of costs) the FTSE All-Share Index by at least 2% per annum over rolling five-year periods. The Sub-fund will invest at least 80% in shares of UK companies, being those which are incorporated, domiciled or conducting a significant portion of their business in the UK. The Sub-fund will be actively managed and may invest in UK companies of any size and in any sector. The Sub-fund will have a concentrated portfolio of between 30 to 50 holdings.

Milena joined Baillie Gifford in 2009 and is a Portfolio Manager. Milena has been part of the UK Equity Team since 2012, managing UK Focus portfolios since 2019. Milena graduated BA in Social & Political Science from the University of Cambridge in 2007 and MPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford in 2009.
