Week ahead: Fed's Powell, Global services PMIs in focus

(Sharecast News) - Investors' focus over the coming week would be on the world's central banks and the global services sector. In particular, multiple top officials at the U.S. Federal Reserve were scheduled to take to the podium, including its chairman, Jerome Powell, on Monday.

Also of key interest would be the results of a raft of purchasing managers' surveys covering activity in the U.K., U.S. and euro area services sectors during the month of January.

All of those were due out on Monday.

Chinese consumer and producer price data for January were also scheduled to be published, but on Thursday, followed by readings on money supply growth in the Asian giant the next day.

Officials at the Reserve Bank of Australia meanwhile would to meet to decide on policy on Tursday.
