Mosman Oil & Gas in talks to sell Billy Goat rights

(Sharecast News) - Mosman Oil and Gas said on Tuesday that it has been in talks with a local helium business interested in buying the first well and associated contractual rights of the Billy Goat area of mutual interest (AMI) lease at its Vecta Project in Colorado. The AIM-listed helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbon exploration, development and production company said it was seriously considering the offer "as co-operation with this party could be the fastest path to production and commercialisation for any helium discovered in the Billy Goat Area".

The Billy Goat AMI lease area first well was drilled to around 720 feet TD and casing set on 16 May 2025.

Chief executive Andy Carroll said: "We are pleased that this potential opportunity has arisen. Mosman will only agree to a change that it considers more favourable to the company and shareholders.

"We look forward to providing further updates in due course."

At 1315 BST, the shares were up 7.7% at 0.049p.
