FTSE 250 movers: AJ Bell surges; Watches of Switzerland slides

AJ Bell surged to the top of the FTSE 250 as it hailed a "strong" interim performance, with pre-tax profit up 12% to £68.8m and revenue ahead 17%.

Watches of Switzerland fell in response to a threat from US President Donald Trump to hit the EU with 50 tariffs.

Harry Potter publisher Bloomsbury Publishing's woes continued with another fall after Thursday's 19.51% plunge as its reported a 22% fall in annual pre-tax profit to £32.5m.
