Director dealings: Science Group chairman lowers stake

(Sharecast News) - Science Group revealed on Friday that chairman Martyn Ratcliffe had disposed of 1.45m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed science and technology consultancy. Ratcliffe, who took over as executive chairman in April 2010, sold the shares on Thursday at an average price of 550p each, for a total value of £7.97m.

Following the transaction, Ratcliffe retains a beneficial holding of 8.04m ordinary Science Group shares, equivalent to 18.2% of the company's voting rights.

As of 1540 BST, Science Group shares were down 1.43% at 552p.
