Director dealings: Caledonia Mining chair invests, Clarkson finance chief sells for retirement

(Sharecast News) - Caledonia Mining chairman July Ndlovu and Clarkson finance chief Jeff Woyda were among directors disclosing share dealings to the London market on Friday. Caledonia Mining said Ndlovu, its non-executive chairman, bought 15,000 common shares in the company on 13 May at $24.81 each.

The purchase, conducted on NYSE American, was worth about $372,150.

Clarkson said Jeff Woyda, its chief financial officer and chief operating officer, sold a total of 81,813 ordinary shares across two transactions on the London Stock Exchange.

Woyda sold 21,813 shares on 13 May at 4,780p each and a further 60,000 shares on 14 May at 4,778p each.

The combined disposals were worth about £3.91m.

The FTSE 250 shipbroking and investment banking services group said the sale formed part of Woyda's planned retirement arrangements.

Clarkson announced in September last year that Woyda would retire later this year after a 12-month notice period.

Following the transactions, Woyda held 57,570 ordinary shares in Clarkson, representing 0.19% of its issued share capital.

He also held 26,904 restricted shares, 47,639 performance-related options and 606 SAYE options.

At 1234 BST, shares in Caledonia Mining Corporation were up 1.31% at 1,848.99p, while those in Clarkson were down 1.37% at 4,742p.
