Thursday preview: Fed speak, US data in focus

(Sharecast News) - Investor sentiment on Thursday will be a deluge of central bank speakers in the US. At least seven top Federal Reserve officials are scheduled to deliver remarks and investors will be looking out for any remarks that might move pricing for interest rate cuts over the remainder of 2025.

Against that backdrop, readings are due out for weekly jobless claims, durable goods orders, foreign trade in goods and existing home sales.

The US Treasury will also hold two auctions for government debt.

In the euro area, at 1000 BST the ECB will publish M3 money supply growth data covering the month of August.

Rate-setters in Switzerland will meet to decide on interest rates.

No major releases will come out in the UK.
