Senior inks five-year supply deal with Rolls-Royce

(Sharecast News) - Components and systems manufacturer Senior announced a significant five-year contract with Rolls-Royce on Tuesday. The FTSE 250 company said that under the agreement, it would supply aerofoils for Rolls-Royce's Pearl engine family, which powers a range of ultra-long-range business jet platforms currently in production and development.

It said manufacturing would be carried out at Senior Aerospace Thailand (SAT) in Chonburi.

SAT earned recognition as a class-leading supplier by Rolls-Royce in 2021, and had been a member of the Rolls-Royce high performance supplier group since 2022.

"Senior is proud to be recognised as a high-performance supplier to Rolls-Royce, and, with the award of this contract, delighted to have the opportunity to continue to provide our leading levels of quality, manufacturing expertise, and on-time delivery performance," said Senior Aerospace chief executive officer Launie Fleming.

At 0827 BST, shares in Senior were up 0.5% at 162.4p.
