Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim ups stake in BT Group

(Sharecast News) - Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim has increased his stake in BT Group, it emerged on Tuesday. According to a regulatory filing from the telecommunications company, Slim's family business Inbursa upped its stake to 4.3%, having taken an initial interest of 3.2% in mid-July.

Inbursa is now the fifth largest shareholder in BT.
