Friday preview: Halifax house prices in focus

(Sharecast News) - There are no FTSE 350 companies of note due to report on Friday as the pre-Christmas lull begins to take hold. On the macro front, the latest Halifax UK house price index is due at 0700 GMT, while German factory orders for October will be released at the same time.

Eurozone third-quarter GDP and employment change figures are due at 1000 GMT.

Across the pond, the CPE index for September is at 1330 GMT, with the preliminary Michigan consumer sentiment index for December at 1500 GMT.
