The Select ETF list

The Select ETF list is a list of ETF products chosen by Fidelity’s investment experts within its ETF and Multi-Asset teams. An entry point for investors who wish to access this increasingly popular way to invest.

What is the Select ETF list?

ETFs are funds that issue shares which are traded on a stock exchange, they cover a broad range of asset classes and can give exposure to specific markets, sectors or investment strategies.

Many ETFs track an index in order to provide this return while others filter shares based on a particular characteristic, such as a high level of dividend income.

Most are regarded as ‘passive’ investments where returns are expected to match a stated benchmark. They're often differentiated from one another by characteristics that can be difficult for ordinary investors to understand and compare.

The Select ETF list aims to present investments that compare favourably on these measures and give you greater confidence that the ETF you buy will perform the job intended.
