Biography

Neil, Head of Research for Pan European Equities, covers the Mining sector and co-ordinates the research for Basic Materials. He also manages Growth & Income and Overseas Earnings under UK Equity portfolio management. After graduating in 1984 from Edinburgh University with a degree in Modern History and Politics, Neil taught for six months in Africa before joining Edinburgh Fund Managers in 1985. In 1988 Neil became a portfolio manager at Allied Dunbar, which became part of Threadneedle.
