Guy is responsible for overseeing the asset allocation of assets in Standard Life Investments multi-asset portfolios, and overall management of the MAI Team. He is Chairman of the Strategic Investment Group. Guy started his investment career with Jefferies and Co and Smith Barney in New York in 1983. He furthered his career in both the United States and Germany before joining Credit Suisse Asset Management as CIO, Multi-Asset Class Solutions in 2002. He joined Standard Life Investments as Head of Multi-Asset Management in April 2008. Guy now has a total of ten years investment experience at Standard Life Investments with 34 years experience in the industry. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder He holds a BA in Economics & Communications from Rutgers University, New Jersey.


Roger is Head of Multi-Asset Investing Portfolio Management and a member of the Multi Asset Investing team, co-manager on the Absolute Return Global Bond Strategies Fund and a portfolio manager on the Global Absolute Return Strategies Fund and Total Return Credit Fund. He is a senior member of the SIG (Strategic Investment Group). He manages a team responsible for managing Absolute Return, Targeted return, Balanced fund and Tactical asset mandates. Prior to that he was a portfolio manager in the credit team managing corporate bond portfolios and aggregate bond portfolios for Standard Life group and external clients. He has always taken a great interest and provided research input into Macro Credit being responsible for much of the allocation of credit to the above funds. His background is in macro fixed income, having begun his career in rates, then specializing in credit and credit derivatives. Previous experience was gained in Rates and Credit at Deutsche Bank, and then at JPMorgan being responsible for distributing credit product (cash and derivative) to UK asset managers. Whilst working within the credit team for eight years, Roger was responsible for developing our macro expertise within the team by working very closely with Credit, Rates and Multi-Asset teams. He has 13 years investment experience at Standard Life Investments with 33 years experience in the industry. He holds a BA (Hons) in Politics, University of York, an MBA, Cranfield School of Management, and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

Fund Objective The investment objective of the Trust is to deliver a positive absolute return in the form of capital growth over the medium to longer term in all market conditions. The level of return the Trust aims to generate over rolling three-year periods is equivalent to cash plus five per cent a year, gross of fees. Invested capital is however at risk and there is no guarantee that the objective will be attained.
