Biography

Phil Cliff joined M&G in January 2012 and was appointed fund manager of the M&G Pan European Dividend Fund in April 2012. Phil was previously Head of European equities at Occam Asset Management and prior to that managed European equity portfolios at Threadneedle. Phil graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in economics.

Fund Objective 'The Fund aims to deliver a dividend yield above the market average, by investing mainly in a range of European equities. The Fund aims to increase distributions over the long term whilst also maximising total return (the combination of income and growth of capital). The Fund's exposure to European equities may be gained through the use of derivatives. The Fund may invest across a wide range of geographies, sectors and market capitalisations. The Fund may also invest in other assets including collective investment schemes, other transferable securities, cash and near cash, deposits, warrants, money market instruments and derivatives.
