Mandy Chan, CFA, Portfolio Manager. She joined the Asian Equity portfolio management team at ABN AMRO Asset Management (Asia) Ltd. in August 2004, focusing on North Asian markets with a primary focus on Hong Kong/China Mandy has been a Senior Investment Analyst at Pacific Century Insurance Investment Management Limited where she was responsible for equity investments in Taiwan, Korea and China since June 2000. Prior to returning to Hong Kong, Mandy spent three years in Canada managing investment portfolios at TD Asset Management Ltd. She also hosted a radio financial program featuring analyses and commentaries on global financial and economic issues. Mandy graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia, Canada. She is also a CFA charter-holder.

Fund Objective To invest primarily in a diverse portfolio of equities and equity related securities of companies which have their registered office in, and with an official listing on a major stock exchange or other regulated market of the People?s Republic of China (?China?), including Hong Kong SAR, as well as those companies which carry out a predominant part of their business activities in China.There are no capitalisation restrictions, and it is anticipated that the fund will seek to invest across a range of capitalisations. The ACD may also invest at its discretion in other transferable securities, money market instruments, deposits, cash and near cash and collective investment schemes.
