Investment objective
The aim of the Fund is to increase in value, over a minimum of 5 years, by investing in a range of asset classes and global markets. The Fund will do this through a combination of capital growth, which is profit on investments held, and income, which is money paid out of investments such as dividends from shares and interest from bonds. At least 80% of the Fund will be invested in exchange traded funds (ETFs), which typically track an index. Through these ETFs the Fund will gain exposure to a range of asset classes across different industries and geographical regions including: Between 40% and 85% in shares of companies. Between 15% and 60% in bonds and cash. Up to 25% in alternatives, such as property, commodities (for example gold and oil) and regulated funds employing a hedge fund type strategy.
