Our view

person-circle-filled

The Invesco Global Equity Income Fund is run by Stephen Anness and Joe Dowling. The global team has always utilised the knowledge and experience of the regional equity investors. This is a two-way process of sharing ideas, analysis, company meetings and offering challenge to each other. This is formalised in their monthly Global Income Group meeting, which provides local market insights and debate around stocks and sectors. The majority of the fund is made up of Dividend Compounders: companies that have a strong track record of paying and growing dividends; The remainder is made up of low yielding, but faster growth stocks: those companies with good capital allocation, resulting in compelling returns on invested capital. Finally they will look to invest a small part of the fund in dividend restoration ideas: Essentially businesses that are undergoing a temporary challenge or turnaround but where they see a clear route to dividend restoration.
