ISA mortgage

It makes sense to use a tax-efficient investment for many purposes. However, to pay off what is likely to be your biggest debt, an ISA can prove to be a very flexible means of doing this. Further details can be found in the Guide to ISAs section of this website.

Once you have established how much you need to invest each month you can then:

  • increase or decrease that amount
  • stop a payment or two if circumstances require
  • add a lump sum payment
  • change the funds into which you invest

With any stock market investment there is no guarantee that your target will be achieved. Use our Mortgage Calculator to review how your investment is faring. See for yourself the possible effect of changes to the amounts and funds that you invest in.
