FIL FundsNetwork PortfolioManager Adventurous Fund invests in a range of different assets with the aim of achieving capital growth and some potential for income. Any income from the underlying investments will remain within the fund and increase the value of the share price.

The fund has a higher weighting in equities than the Balanced Fund, which provides the potential for higher returns, albeit with a higher level of risk.

Asset allocation

The fund will have around 80% of its portfolio in equity funds including those investing in the UK and those that are further afield. The portfolio is made up as follows:

Asset allocation for Adventurous Fund - 35% UK equities, 35% developed markets equities, 10% emerging markets equities, 5% UK bonds, 5% global bonds, 5% property, 5% Commodities
